The Hill Town Cottage is situated at the foot of Piduruthalagala mountain (The highest mountain in Sri Lanka). Any guest can reach the Nuwara Eliya city by walking or by driving. Hill Town Cottage is situated on Lady Maccullum Drive, coming from Kandy or from Ragala, both routes connect to Lady Maccullum Drive. The guest can drive within 15 minutes or have a days tour to Lake Gregory, Single Tree, Lovers Leap, Holy Trinity Church, Golf Club and the Hill Club. Also, there are many tea centres such as Pedro tea centre, Mackwoods tea centre, and blue field tea centre for the best Sri Lankan tea. There are many water falls and many places of interests, like, Moon Plains, Horton Plains, Hakgala Botanical Gardens and Victoria Park.
