Vulcans Industrial Running Tea manufacture machines business since 2008 at Industrial Zone Kotagala. We are manufacture machinery based on customer specified needs

Tea machinery manufacturers specialize in creating the equipment needed to process tea leaves into the finished product that we know and love. There are two main types of tea processing: orthodox and CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl). The machinery used for each type of processing is different.

Here are some of the typical machines used in tea processing:

Withering troughs: These troughs are used to wilt the tea leaves after they are plucked. Wilting reduces the moisture content of the leaves and makes them easier to process.

Rolling machines: Rolling machines break down the cell walls of the tea leaves, which releases the tea’s flavor and aroma. There are different types of rolling machines for orthodox and CTC teas.

Oxidation chambers: Orthodox teas are oxidized, which allows them to develop their characteristic black color and flavor. Oxidation chambers provide a controlled environment for this process.

CTC machines: CTC machines use a series of rollers to crush, tear, and curl the tea leaves. This process produces a smaller, stronger tea that is ideal for use in tea bags.

Firing machines: Firing machines are used to dry the tea leaves. This process stops the oxidation process and prevents the tea from spoiling.

Sorting and grading machines: Sorting and grading machines separate the tea leaves into different sizes and grades.

Packing machines: Packing machines package the finished tea into bags, boxes, or other containers
