Thashin lanka Minerals Company (Pvt) Ltd is a Liability Company established in the year 2009 under registration No. PV/68794 and situated in Nalanda Ellawala Industrial Zone, Paradise, Kuruwita.

All required approvals from the Govt. institutions & the acquisitions of the land have already been obtained in accordance with government rules and most modern machinery for the crushing plant is on the verge of being installed in the Industrial Zone.

The objective of establishing the company is to supply Dolomite, Calcite, Magnesite & chalk in powder format. This is due to the vast demand in the local market as it is required for the development of the industrial sector of many factories situated in Sri Lanka.

Most of the minerals are found largely in the hill country in area such as Matale & Kandy districts and also in Ratnapura district, especially Dolomite/ Calcite. These are mostly in hard rock formations and cannot be used directly for any purpose and only the crushed minerals could be used in producing different types of paints, porcelain products, glass, heat resistors and also used in animal food & etc.

The ground minerals as envisaged as a product in the present report are used as raw materials in various industries and thus, the mineral crushing unit plays an important role in the industrial sector.
