East Lank a Polysack (PVT) LTD  Established in 2015 by visionary entrepreneur Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Seeni Mohamed (Chairman) partnership with USAID VEGA/BIZ+ to manufacture Woven Polypropylene Bags, Leno Mesh Bags and the LDPE films in the eastern province of Sri Lanka., East Lanka Polysack (Pvt) Ltd. has emerged as one of Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturers of polypropylene woven sacks and industrial packaging solutions. From its humble beginnings, the company has grown steadily through a commitment to quality, innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Today, East Lanka Polysack operates with a production capacity of approximately 220 metric tons  per month  (2.5 million bags), serving a diverse range of industries including rice, fertilizers, animal feed, sugar, flour, chemicals, and construction materials. The company’s products are trusted by many of Sri Lanka’s leading corporate organizations, including DIMO Fertilizers, CIC, Hayleys, Prima, Serendib, Daraz, Wijaya Products, Maha Raja food supply, Bairaha,New Anthony Farm, Ceylon Grain Elavators, New Anthony farm  and numerous other renowned businesses.

As a proud Sri Lankan manufacturer, East Lanka Polysack contributes significantly to the national economy by creating employment opportunities and supporting industrial development. The company provides direct employment to over 120 employees while generating approximately 300 indirect employment opportunities through its business operations and supply chain network.

Beyond business success, East Lanka Polysack is deeply committed to social responsibility. The company has actively supported Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and vulnerable communities during natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic through the distribution of essential food items and relief assistance. Furthermore, the company invests in the future of Sri Lanka through educational support programs, School development initiatives, and university scholarships for deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds.
